Vicky Kaushal is set to build an impressive lineup of films in the years ahead, known for his remarkable versatility and dedication to his craft.
After his remarkable performance in Sam Bahadur, the actor is collaborating with renowned directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Laxman Utekar, and Amar Kaushik on upcoming projects. In addition to these, sources reveal that Vicky is also in talks to join Aditya Chopra’s next big venture, adding yet another exciting collaboration to his already promising career.
With such a variety of high-profile films, Vicky Kaushal is poised to continue making his mark in Bollywood.
Industry insiders reveal that Vicky Kaushal and Aditya Chopra have recently met to discuss two potential projects. Although specifics remain under wraps, there is growing speculation that the Yash Raj Films head honcho is keen on casting Vicky in a lead role for one of the major franchise films under his studio's banner.
"Aditya has grand plans for expanding the YRF Spy Universe and looks to introduce new faces that carry forward the legacy established by the Khans. He wants Vicky to headline one of the standalone cop films, bringing new energy to the ever-expanding cinematic universe.". However, the collaboration is still in the early stages, with the team awaiting the box office performance of Alpha, the film introducing Alia Bhatt and Sharvari to the Spy Universe, before moving forward, according to an insider.
The other project under consideration is the highly awaited Dhoom 4. While Ranbir Kapoor has been confirmed as the villain, Aditya Chopra has proposed that Vicky Kaushal take over the role previously played by Abhishek Bachchan, portraying the lead cop who pursues a new villain in each installment.
Being part of such a prestigious franchise would significantly boost Vicky's career. The final decision on which project Vicky will choose largely depends on his availability, as his schedule is packed until April 2026.
Both Vicky and Aditya are currently working out their dates, aiming to collaborate in 2026.
Vicky Kaushal will next be seen in Laxman Utekar's highly anticipated Chhaava, where he portrays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, slated for release on February 14.
In addition, he will share the screen with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama Love and War, with filming set to wrap by the end of September, aiming for a theatrical release during Eid 2026.
Following this, Kaushal will begin shooting for Amar Kaushik’s mythological epic Mahavatar in late 2025, targeting a Christmas 2026 release.
