Vasudha: Parineeta Borthakur to replace Nausheen Ali Sardar as Chandrika Singh Chauhan

Vasudha has been doing quite well on the TRP charts. It has entered the top 10 this week and the storyline is garnering the attention of television lovers.

According to a report by Times Now, Nausheen Ali Sardar has quit the show. Apparently, she has creative differences with the makers and has decided to end the association. The publication reports that Parineeta Borthakur will be replacing her in the said television serial.

She will play the role of Chandrika Singh Chauhan and will start shooting for the same soon.

The publication has reported that Nausheen has not made any official statement with regards to her exit yet hence the nature of differences between her and the production house remains a mystery.

Having been in the industry for around two decades, Nausheen is known for her stint in Kkusum. The show featured Anuj Saxena, Hiten Tejwani, Aashka Goradia, Poonam Narula, Chetan Hansraj and others in pivotal roles.

Nausheen also has other television shows in the likes of as Ana, Sindoor Tere Naam Ka, Meri Doli Tere Angana, Beend Banoongaa Ghodi Chadhunga, Gangaa and Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka among others to her credit.

Vasudha stars Abhishek Sharrma, Priya Thakur, Pratiksha Rai and others in significant roles. Abhishek's performance as Devansh and his chemistry with Priya has been adored by the masses and people cannot have enough of the show.

While the makers are introducing intriguing twists regularly, Dev's track has made a special place in the hearts of fans who constantly appreciate the character's layered personality and emotional strength.

As the show is doing quite well, Filmibeat got in touch with the actor to know his viewers on the same. He told the publication, "If we look at it right from the very beginning, the show has been consistent with its TRPs; in fact, it has only risen. The reach has increased, and we're getting a very good response from both the channel and the audience. Ultimately, it's the storyline that matters, and that is what will keep a show running. So, comparing it with other shows based solely on TRP... that comes secondary. Eventually, it's the storyline that needs to have substance, and our show has that to offer."
