Recently, the choreographers Bosco and Caesar celebrated the 18th anniversary of the popular Bollywood comedy Partner, which featured Salman Khan and Govinda in the lead roles, by taking a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
In addition to being a box office hit, David Dhawan's film solidified its status in popular culture thanks to its memorable dance sequences, humour, and chemistry.
Taking to social media, Bosco Leslie Martis of the celebrated choreography team shared an emotional post commemorating the milestone. “18 years to this magical movie that I was a part of choreography… Special thanks to @beingsalmankhan @daviddhawan8 @govinda_herono1 @katrinakaif @gulnaazukhan @auggypereira @caesar2373 @larabhupathi #boscocaesar #boscolesliemartis #teamboscocaesar,” he wrote.
Two emotional photos were also shared by the pair. One of them showed a behind-the-scenes photo of Bosco with Govinda and Salman Khan, providing a unique look into their friendship off-screen. In the other, Salman and Govinda were seated on the front bonnet of a car, striking a playful pose that perfectly encapsulated Partner's eccentric personality.
Salman Khan's character, a love guru, assists the foolish Govinda in winning the girl of his dreams in the 2007 film Partner, which was loosely based on the Hollywood movie Hitch.
Katrina Kaif and Lara Dutta were also featured in the movie, which received praise for its humorous timing and catchy soundtrack, both of which were enhanced by Bosco-Caesar's energetic choreography.
The dance language of contemporary Bollywood has been greatly influenced by Bosco–Caesar, who are renowned for their inventive style and exuberant dance sequences. They have worked with a who's who of the film industry and choreographed for many blockbusters over the years.
The choreographers' homage to Partner, which marks its 18th anniversary, serves as both a celebration of the movie's timeless appeal and a reminder of the innovative teamwork that has defined Bollywood's greatest moments.
