Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde have collaborated for David Dhawan’s directorial film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The crew is currently in Europe shooting the upcoming film, and some of the videos are going viral on social media.
A new video shows the trio recreating the iconic song Chunari Chunari, which has recently become an Instagram trend. In the video, Varun, Pooja, and Mrunal can be seen dancing to the recreated version of Chunari Chunari from the 1999 film Biwi No. 1.
Both actresses sported golden dresses while Varun wore a printed purple shirt and red cargo pants.
The film notably has a special connection with the 1999 film, as the title of David’s upcoming romantic comedy is inspired by the hit song Ishq Sona Hai from the blockbuster Biwi No. 1.
Meanwhile, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai is produced by Ramesh Taurani under the TIPS banner. The film also features Mouni Roy, Chunkey Panday, Pooja Hegde, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar in key roles.
Directed by David Dhawan, the film promises a whirlwind of romance, chaos, and classic Bollywood flair with a modern twist.
It is currently being shot in the UK. Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai has recently locked the release date and is slated to hit the theatres on April 10, 2026.
