Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde star in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai

Bollywood star Varun Dhawan is all set to return to the big screen with his upcoming film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. He will star alongside Pooja Hegde in the upcoming romantic comedy.

However, the actors have recently shared an update on the much-anticipated film. Pooja has recently taken to her Instagram and revealed that they have started shooting at the first location, which is Rishikesh.

Varun and Pooja shared a series of photos on Instagram, sharing their enthusiasm and giving fans a sneak peek at their first moments of filming together. Alongside the photos, the actors wrote in the caption, “A great beginning to our schedule in Rishikesh… Blessed… #HainJawaniTohIshqHonaHain.”

Another picture captures a heartwarming moment of the duo bonding over a casual activity, as they water a plant together. Additionally, the actors were also seen performing the sacred Ganga aarti ritual together.

Many details of the film are yet to be revealed. However, recent reports have suggested that Mrunal Thakur will also star in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai forming a love triangle. However, Maniesh Paul, Kubbra Sait and Rohit Saraf are also speculated to star in the film.

Meanwhile, Pooja Hegde was last seen in Deva, opposite Shahid Kapoor. She has a series of films lined up including, Jana Nayagan, Coolie, Housefull 5, Sanki and Retro.

However, Varun Dhawan was last seen in Baby John with Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi. The actor has been busy with a packed schedule, juggling multiple film shoots including, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, with Janhvi Kapoor.
