Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma file for divorce after four years of marriage: Reports

Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma have reportedly decided to end their marriage, bringing a close to a relationship that began on a television set and later became one of the more closely followed love stories in the Indian TV world.

The couple, who married in 2021, has filed for divorce after months of quiet speculation about their personal lives.

Here’s the thing: the separation didn’t happen suddenly. According to a report by News18 Showsha, the two have been living separately for a while now.

A source quoted in the report said the decision has been made and the legal process has started.

The exact reason behind the break is still unclear, and neither Neil nor Aishwarya has issued a public statement confirming or explaining the situation. The only clarity is that the couple is moving forward individually.

Their love story began on the sets of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. Neil played Virat; Aishwarya played Pakhi. What began as co-stars sharing screen space turned into friendship, and eventually into something deeper. Fans saw them fall in love, announce their relationship, and get married in 2021. They weren’t just partners at home. They appeared together in Smart Jodi and later in Bigg Boss 17, showing support for each other through public scrutiny and competitive environments. Their dynamic was something the audience connected with — two people who seemed steady, grounded, and very much in sync.

But in the last few months, something changed. People noticed the silence first. No joint posts. No appearances. Aishwarya, who remains fairly active online, celebrated festivals with family but Neil wasn’t seen. Neil’s Instagram has been silent since mid-September, with his last post being a brand collaboration. The absence became a conversation thread across fan pages.

In June, Aishwarya addressed the whispers without directly confirming anything. Through an Instagram story, she asked people to stop building stories around her life. She didn’t confirm the breakup but made it clear that the chatter was affecting her peace. Her message was pointed: silence is not weakness, and privacy is not a performance.

Now, with reports saying the divorce process is underway, the speculation settles into something more concrete. It’s the end of a chapter that many had rooted for. Whether they will speak about it publicly remains to be seen, but what’s clear already is that both of them are choosing to step away from the noise, at least for now.
