Mahhi Vij hospitalised due to severe viral infection, shares health update from hospital bed: "Just keep me in your prayers"

Popular TV actor Mahhi Vij recently sparked concern over her health among her fans. The actress was admitted to the hospital on Thursday, November 6, due to a high fever.

However, Mahhi has recently shared a video from a hospital bed and given a health update. She revealed that her dengue, malaria, and typhoid tests were negative, but she had a severe viral infection.

The actress took to her Instagram and shared the video with the caption, “Keep@me in your prayers.”

Mahhi said in the clip, “Hi guys, just giving you an update about my health. I had a fever and shivers again this morning. I got dengue, malaria, and typhoid. It's viral, it's severely viral.”

She added, “I'm most saddened that I'm not able to go for the shoot. I have to go for the shoot. It's my dream project. I've put all my life into it. Just keep me in your prayers. Pray for me to get well soon and go for the shoot.”

Mahhi also mentioned in the video that she hoped to return to work soon and tried to regain her strength by eating fruits that were sent home. She further explained that she is currently resting and unable to answer calls.

She shared, “I've ordered a lot of fruits from here today. I'm trying my best to get well by tomorrow and resume from day after tomorrow. Thank you very much for praying for me and loving me so much.”

She thanked her well-wishers for their love and concern. “I love you all. Thank you to all my friends whom I'm not able to answer their calls. I'm not able to answer their video calls. I'm resting. I don't have the energy to talk on the phone guys. Please understand. Thank you very much for everything. I love you all,” concluded Mahhi.

The hospitalisation came just a few days after reports claimed that Mahhi Vij is parting ways with her husband, Jay Bhanushali. The reports claimed that the divorce is finalised and they had also made a decision regarding custody of their children.
