The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, which aired on 30 October 2025, was a delightful mix of humour, warmth, and wisdom.

The show, which was hosted by the always charming Amitabh Bachchan, included a contestant named Parima Jaiswal, whose charm and honesty won over the audience right away.

During the episode, Amitabh Bachchan opened about his love of vada pav and sabudhana vada.

Parima mentioned that she works in a clerical role, which led to a fun conversation about food — and Big B revealed his fondness for street snacks.

“Vada pav and sabudana vada are so tasty. I have a friend in the industry, he is into music. So many varieties you get nowadays. He often visits and he got me sabudana vada. It is so tasty, now he gets it every day,” he shared with a smile, leaving the audience craving the same.

Parima, who holds an M.Sc in Chemistry from the same college her mother once attended, started her journey on the hot seat with a question worth Rs 2 lakh.

When Big B encouraged her to draw inspiration from her mother, she responded with endearing candour, “Wahan se motivation nahi milti hai, sirf daant milti hai. She just says tere se nahi hoga.” (I don’t get motivation from there, only scoldings. She just says you won’t be able to do it.)

Everyone, including Amitabh Bachchan, laughed at her clever comment, which set the tone for the rest of the show. The two struck up a conversation about daily life as the quiz went on.

Using her audience poll lifeline, Parima played with composed resolve, correctly identifying Mesopotamia as present-day Iraq in response to a question about the region. She won Rs 70,000 in the Super Sandook round thanks to her poise and charisma.

The Rs 7.5 lakh query concerning the southernmost region of India and its High Court jurisdiction, however, changed the course of her journey.

She selected Madras High Court with the aid of the audience poll, but Calcutta High Court was the right response. She ultimately left the show with a healthy sum of Rs 5 lakh and lots of affection from the audience.

After Parima’s run, Sneha Kapure, an Administrative Assistant from Chalisgaon, Maharashtra, working at Nashik Central Jail, was introduced as the next contestant.
