Hina Khan admits missing her late father during Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani’s wedding: 'It touched me deeply'

Avika Gor and Milind Chandwani have recently tied the knot on the sets of Colors Dhamaal with Pati Patni Aur Panga – Jodiyon Ka Reality Check in an extravagant wedding. The set turned into a celebration of unity as dhols reverberated, laughter filled the air, and smiles lit up every nook and cranny.

The day was transformed into a fairy tale by the bride and groom's indisputable chemistry, but television's true queen Hina Khan made the most frank admission.

Hina Khan has been taken back to her own wedding, displaying a side of herself that is rarely seen.

She revealed that she and her husband, Rocky, sobbed at home because they were so moved by Avika and Milind's haldi ceremony. She discloses that they were moved by recollections of their own marriage and their respective fathers' absence.

Hina recalled her own wedding and said, “I remember when Rocky and I got married, we both missed our fathers deeply because they were no longer with us. I did all my wedding festivities with my father’s photo beside me, just so I could feel he was with me. What moved me even more was the presence of Avika and Milind’s parents, especially the bond Milind shared with his father.”

She added, “The biggest blessing for both of them is that they have their parents with them together on their big day, supporting them like no one else and loving them unconditionally. When I saw Milind’s father protecting him during the haldi, telling everyone not to tear his clothes or hurt him, it touched me deeply. It made us so happy because, in that moment, we saw the love and care that only a parent can give.”

For the unaware, Hina Khan and Rocky have been dating each other for over 13 years after meeting for the first time on the sets of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where the actor played the lead role of Akshara while Rocky was part of the crew as a producer. The couple made their relationship public in 2017 and tied the knot on June 4, 2025.
