Renowned for their performances in legendary series such as Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, the couple's marriage has triggered a wave of nostalgia and enthusiasm among supporters.

Sandeep Baswana, 47, shared with The Times of India, “In April, Ashlesha and I went to Vrindavan and experienced a strong bond with the Radha Krishna temples located there. That journey motivated us to tie the knot after spending 23 years together. Our parents are the most joyful — they have been anticipating this for a long time. We aimed for simplicity, and there's no place better than a Lord Krishna temple to tie the knot."

Ashlesha, 41, expressed, “I experience profound joy and appreciation for finally being wed to the love of my life. Vrindavan was the perfect location — we experienced a profound bond during our visit. It was a natural, abrupt choice, and we decided to keep it confidential, sharing only with our families."

Sandeep remarked playfully that they were weary of responding to enquiries about why they hadn't tied the knot after so many years together, asserting that, in his view, he and Ashlesha had always been married.

The pair initially encountered each other on the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in 2002. Their companionship quickly evolved into romance, and they cohabitated for years before choosing to tie the knot.
