Rakhi Sawant and her estranged husband Adil Durrani have finally decided to separate amicably, at least legally, following months of acrimonious accusations, emotional outbursts, and public drama.

In what many believe to be the end of a difficult chapter in both of their lives, the Bombay High Court on Tuesday quashed the FIRs the two had filed against one another, providing a moment of significant closure.

Rakhi, who is famous for having her heart on her sleeve, showed up to court looking composed and determined. She informed the judges that she had no objection to the cancellation of the FIR and the chargesheet filed by Oshiwara Police, effectively dropping her case against Adil.

Durrani echoed her sentiment, saying, "I don't have any objection to the quashing of the FIR," and confirmed that he stood by his affidavit, which supported ending the matter.

The couple, who were married under Islamic law, had filed police complaints against each other earlier this year after their relationship took a dramatic turn.

What started as marital discord quickly spiralled into a very public feud, involving serious accusations, media trials, and emotional breakdowns.

However, as the dust settled, both parties informed the court that they had reached a mutual understanding and no longer wished to pursue the cases.

Recognising the nature of the dispute, a bench of Justices Revati Mohite Dere and Sandesh Patil called it a "matrimonial dispute that has been amicably settled."

The court added that there would be no penalties or costs imposed, and both FIRs — including one filed by Durrani over an alleged obscene video — were formally quashed.

Importantly, the court reminded both Rakhi and Adil to stick to their legal undertakings, which included not speaking publicly or making allegations against one another going forward.

“Donald Trup ki beti hoon main, unki jai, Jai Salman Khan bhai, Bharat Mata ki jai, Modi sarkar ki jai, main aaj azad ho gayi!”

(“I am Donald Trump’s daughter—hail him, hail Salman Khan bhai, hail Mother India, hail Modi government—I am free today!”)
