Pranit expressed his distress over the incident, noting he was affected by how someone could resort to violence over a joke. He spoke about the assault case and maintained he would not alter his comedic style, though he would be more careful.
About the Veer Pahariya case:
The controversy between actor Veer Pahariya and comedian Pranit More stems from an incident where Pranit was allegedly physically assaulted by a group of men in Solapur after his stand-up show in February 2025. The attackers claimed to be fans of Veer Pahariya and were angered by jokes Pranit had made about the actor during his performance.
According to a statement shared by Pranit More's team, a group of 10 to 12 men approached him after his show, initially posing as fans for selfies. After the crowd cleared, they allegedly began punching and kicking him, leaving him injured.
The attackers reportedly told Pranit, "Next time, try making a joke on Veer Pahariya," making it clear the assault was in retaliation for the jokes about the actor. Based on a complaint lodged by the restaurant owner where the incident occurred, a case was registered against 10 to 12 individuals in Solapur, Maharashtra.
