Bigg Boss 19 contestants Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri unfollow each other on social media

Tanya and Neelam have decided not to disclose the cause of their disagreements.

We exist in a time where a breakdown in friendship is frequently determined by an Instagram unfollow, particularly regarding celebrities. Recent chatter indicates that close friends Tanya Mittal and Neelam Giri have unfollowed one another on Instagram, baffling their followers regarding the current state of their relationship.

Neelam had fervently backed Tanya during Bigg Boss 19 and consistently cheered for her win. Of course, following the grand finale, supporters anticipated the couple to come back together. Rather, they were surprised when the two stopped following one another on social media.

Tanya and Neelam have decided not to disclose the cause of their disagreements. Nonetheless, throughout the performance, their friendship was already experiencing difficulties. Neelam felt distressed witnessing Tanya grow closer to Farrhana Bhatt, particularly after Farrhana ripped apart the heartfelt letter that Neelam's family had sent.

Even after getting hints and warnings, Tanya persisted in associating with Farrhana, which allegedly caused Neelam frustration. Tanya, however, expressed that she didn’t want Farrhana to feel alone in the house.

Now that the duo has unfollowed each other after the show, speculation about their fallout has grown even stronger. It is yet to be determined if Tanya and Neelam will resolve their disputes or if this signifies a lasting split in their friendship.

For the unversed, Neelam Giri was eliminated from Bigg Boss 19 in a double eviction along with Abhishek Bajaj on November 10, 2025. The elimination was surprising to many fans, and Giri called it "sad" and "shocking" in post-eviction interviews, noting that she had not expected to leave the show so soon. Her elimination was due to a combination of public voting and a special power held by house captain Pranit More, who chose to save Ashnoor Kaur from the bottom three, which resulted in both Giri and Bajaj being eliminated.

As for Tanya, she was among the top 5 finalists of the season.
