Actress Rupali Ganguly, who is seen in the titular role of Anupamaa in the hit serial of the same name and Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, joined the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today, May 1. The actress has finally entered politics.
Rupali Ganguly, who was recently seen at the Influencers meet with PM Narendra Modi in Delhi, had shared an early morning video of her leaving for the National capital.
Rupali Ganguly joined the ruling BJP in presence of leaders Vinod Tawde and Anil Baluni.
"All thanks to the blessings of Mahakaal and Mata Rani, I meet a lot of people thanks to my acting medium. When I see this development in our country, I also wanted to be a part of it. I want to walk on the path suggested by Modi ji and serve my country. I should do something that people should be proud of me. I want the blessings of all and whatever I do is right and good. Thank you so much," said Rupali Ganguly with folded hands as she joined BJP.
Earlier this year too on March 8, she had posted a video from her meeting with PM Modi in New Delhi. In the video, she had said it is a huge moment for me as I am meeting my hero today," referring to PM Modi.
She had posted then: "Last Week was special for reasons beyond words and 8th March 2024 will go down as one of the most memorable and cherished days of my life! A day I will not stop reliving in my mind and feel euphoric about !It was the day my dream came true…that of meeting our Honourable PM Shri Narendra Modiji @narendramodi It was indeed a fan girl moment!
