Television actress Chahatt Khanna has recently recalled an incident when her Bade Achhe Lagte Hain co-star Ram Kapoor came to her defense during a late-night shoot when someone was bothering her. The actress appreciated her co-star’s supportive nature.
During a recent interview with Hautterfly, Chahatt said, “Ram Kapoor is also very nice and has been very supportive. I remember once, someone had come on the sets of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. He was troubling me. Ram fought with him. I became a fan of him that day. He’s always been very supportive, especially towards women."
However, the actress also talked about her co-actress, Sakshi Tanwar, and called her ‘elder sister’. Chahatt noted, “She’s very sweet and exactly the same even today. That sense of sisterhood, I felt it with Sakshi. She’s one of the nicest people I’ve worked with.”
Recently, Chahatt Khanna shared a disturbing experience where she was harassed and physically assaulted by two bikers around a decade ago. She was with her sister in her car. However, the actress fought back in her defence, but the bikers retaliated with violence.
For the unversed, Chahatt Khanna started her television journey with Hero: Bhakti Hi Shakti Hai. The actress then bagged several roles, including popular shows like Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Kaajjal, and Qubool Hai.
However, Chahatt received a big break with the role of Ayesha Sharma Kapoor in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. She soon became a popular TV actress and went on to star in films like Thank You, 7½ Phere: More Than a Wedding, Prassthanam, and most recently, Yaatris in 2023.
