Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have officially announced their engagement, and the details are already making headlines. The couple shared pictures from a floral-filled garden proposal on Instagram, where Taylor showed off her engagement ring and Travis kept it simple but romantic.
Speaking to FOX, Travis admitted the moment was far from flawless. "She can tell that story. The palms were definitely sweating. I’m an emotional guy, so there were a few tears here and there. But it’s been an exciting ride up to this day, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with her."
The NFL star also credited Taylor for changing his life. "She has brought excitement and a joy for life that made me a better man, made me a better person, and made me just that much more comfortable in who I am," he added.
Taylor and Travis began dating in the summer of 2023 after he expressed his admiration for the singer on his New Heights podcast. Their relationship quickly grew, with fans speculating for months about a possible proposal. The couple confirmed the news with a joint Instagram post captioned: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.”

Travis also offered advice for those planning their own proposals. In an earlier interview with PEOPLE, he said, "Man, you've gotta know your gal. You've gotta know your gal or your significant other. You can't let how somebody else does it make you feel like you need to do it that way... I would just say know your partner, know who you're doing it for and do it for the right reasons."
The engagement has sparked global excitement, with fans eagerly awaiting details about what could become one of the most talked-about weddings of the decade.
