Fans' favourite The Simpsons is returning for a thrilling new season. Fox has reportedly renewed the iconic animated series for more than one season.

The official social media handle of Fox has recently shared a series of glimpses of the shows premiering in late 2025, along with their premiere dates.

The Simpsons Season 37 will premiere on Sunday, September 28 at 8/7c on Fox. The TV network has previously renewed the animated series in April 2025 and announced the "historic four-season" renewal. The Simpsons has been renewed through Seasons 37 to 40. The show will celebrate its 800th episode milestone in 2026.

However, Idris Elba, Michael Keaton and Viola Davis will guest star in the Halloween segment, Treehouse of Horror.

The legendary animated series will bring back the residents of Springfield. The iconic animated series explores a linear universe, which means that characters age slowly.

While the plot details of the upcoming season have been kept under wraps, fans can expect The Simpsons to entertain them with their regular shenanigans, including Homer fighting with their neighbour, Ned Flanders, Bart getting in trouble in school, and Lisa getting straight A's.

Fans can stream all seasons of The Simpsons on Disney+. The animated sitcom is also available for streaming on other streaming services like Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Hulu, and Fandango at Home.
