KPop Demon Hunters continues to dominate streaming charts and has broken new records. The animated action musical has now officially become Netflix’s most-watched original animated film of all time.

Netflix recently announced the big news on their official social media handle.

Sharing the photo of the film with the text ‘Netflix’s most watched animated film of all time, KPop Demon Hunters, the streaming giant tweeted, “It's their moment!”

The tweet continued, “KPop Demon Hunters is Netflix's most-watched original animated film of ALL TIME.”

The animated film premiered on June 20 and garnered a whopping 106.1 million views in just five weeks.

KPop Demon Hunters has now officially surpassed the streaming record of Adam Sandler’s animated comedy, Leo, which previously held the top spot.

The animated film blends high-energy music, demon-slaying action, and K-pop flair. The film also features Korean pop culture and supernatural adventure that perfectly resonated with audiences across age groups and regions, helping the film to achieve a new milestone.

Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, the film is produced by Sony Pictures Animation. The directors have brought their bold visuals and a uniquely stylish story that instantly became fans’ favourite.
