Building on the success of hit songs like Lal Paari and Dil E Nadaan, the makers of Housefull 5 have now released their newest track, The Phoogdi Dance. The lively song adds a lively, celebratory touch to the soundtrack and carries on the movie's tradition of providing energetic, crowd-pleasing music.

Veteran actor Nana Patekar brings the spirit of the Konkan to the screen in a vibrant and lively music video for Housefull 5, where he teaches the cast the traditional folk dance of the area, Fugdi. The two-minute-and-seven-second video shows off Nana in his element as he leads celebrities like Sonam Bajwa, Riteish Deshmukh, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, and Jacqueline Fernandez through the rhythmic footwork of the traditional dance style.

The song, titled The Phoogdi Dance, combines a contemporary musical feel with folk roots to give Fugdi a new, light-hearted spin. The song, which is sung by Krattex and features music by Tanishk Bagchi and Krattex, perfectly encapsulates the humorous and eccentric spirit of the Housefull series.

Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, and Shreyas Talpade are all seen dancing along with the song, adding their own unique flair to the upbeat scene. A humorous scene in which Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt are seen dancing together inside a jail cell is one of the video's highlights. It adds a light-hearted element that perfectly complements the tone of the movie.

Meanwhile, according to a recent report by Pinkvilla, producer Sajid Nadiadwala submitted two different edits of Housefull 5 to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). After reviewing both versions, the board granted the film a U/A certificate, clearing the way for its theatrical release.

With a stellar cast of 19 actors, Housefull 5 is expected to be the most glitzy and wild comedy in the series. Comedy legend Akshay Kumar leads the way, with Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek A. Bachchan, who are regulars in the franchise, joining him. Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, and Jackie Shroff are also part of the star-studded cast.

Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, and Shreyas Talpade will all appear in the movie, adding even more celebrity power. The lavish cast also includes Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, Housefull 5 is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The much-awaited comedy extravaganza is set to hit cinemas worldwide on June 6, 2025.
