Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Asit Kumarr Modi introduces the “Rupa Ratan Family” in TMKOC, promising double the fun in Gokuldham society

The beloved Gokuldham Society of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC) is set to welcome a vibrant new household. Asit Kumarr Modi, the producer and creator of India’s longest-running sitcom, has introduced the Rajasthani Rupa Ratan family, promising fresh humor, cultural richness, and double the fun for viewers. With over 17 years and 4,479 episodes, TMKOC continues to capture everyday life with heartwarming comedy, and the addition of this new family marks an exciting chapter for the iconic show.

The Rupa Ratan family’s entry is a colorful affair. Dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire and arriving on ornately decorated camels, the family brings the vibrancy and warmth of their culture to Gokuldham Society. Asit Kumarr Modi personally introduces Ratan, Rupa, and their children to the society members, making the episode a memorable celebration for audiences.

“In all these years, our viewers have embraced every character of TMKOC with immense love,” Modi shared. “The Gokuldham family has evolved over time, and we are thrilled to welcome a new Rajasthani family—Ratan and Rupa Binjola along with their children Veer and Bansari. This family will bring unique charm, cultural traditions, and relatable stories to the show, adding new layers of humor and heart to the narrative.”

Ratan Binjola, a Jaipur-based saree shop owner, is played by Kuldeep Gor, a well-known name in Gujarati cinema and television. His wife, Rupa Baditop, portrayed by Dharti Bhatt, is a homemaker and influencer. Their children, Veer (Akshaan Sehrawat) and Bansari (Maahi Bhadra), join the society as the youngest members after Tapu Sena, bringing innocence, playfulness, and cheer.
