Suresh Gopi meets Shine Tom Chacko after accident

Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko was involved in a tragic road accident on June 6, which took his father, C. P. Chacko’s life. Shine sustained injuries and is currently undergoing treatment. However, actor and Union Minister Suresh Gopi recently visited Shine in Sun hospital, Thrissur, on Saturday.

According to Asianet News, Suresh Gopi talked to the media outside the hospital and shared an update on Shine's condition. He revealed that Shine has sustained a minor injury and will need minor surgery on his left hand.

Besides this, the Union minister also revealed that Shine’s mother, Maria Carmel, is yet to be informed about the actor’s father, Chacko’s death. Shine’s mother was also injured in the fatal accident and suffered spinal injuries.

C. P. Chacko's body is currently at the Jubilee Mission Hospital mortuary. His funeral will be at Karmala Mathavin Church in Mundur, Thrissur, on Monday at 10:30 am. On Sunday, there will be a public viewing at his Mundur residence from 5 pm.

Shine and his family were travelling from Thrissur to Bengaluru on June 6 at around 6 am when their multiple-purpose vehicle (MVP) collided with a truck near Nallampalli in Tamil Nadu’s Dharmapuri's Kompanahalli. They were travelling for Shine’s medical treatment.

Shine’s father died at the spot while the actor, his mother, brother and the driver were injured. Meanwhile, Shine, his mother Maria, brother Joe John Chacko, and their driver Anis were injured in the accident but are reported to be in a stable condition now.
