Bollywood actor Sunny Kaushal recently took to social media to extend a warm birthday wish to his rumoured girlfriend and co-star, Sharvari, as she turned 28 on June 14, 2025.

Sharing a still from their Amazon Prime Video series The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye, Sunny’s Instagram Story was short but heartfelt.

He wrote, “Happy birthday Sharvari,” igniting fresh buzz about their rumoured relationship.

Together, they starred in The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye, a patriotic miniseries that debuted on Amazon Prime Video on January 24, 2020. The series, which was directed by Kabir Khan, pays homage to the unsung heroes of the Indian National Army (INA), which was commanded by the renowned Subhash Chandra Bose.

With Sunny and Sharvari in the main parts, the program vividly depicted tales of incredible bravery, tenacity, and selflessness throughout India's fight for independence.

Kabir Khan’s connection to this story dates back to 1999 when he first created a documentary on the subject for Doordarshan. Two decades later, he returned to the narrative with renewed vision, delivering a cinematic version that was filmed across multiple international locations, including Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, and Mumbai.

Due to their strong bond and frequent appearances together, fans continue to conjecture even though Sunny and Sharvari have not officially announced their relationship. With many pointing out the chemistry the two had both on and off screen, Sunny's subtle yet intimate birthday message fuelled persistent rumours.

On the work front, she will feature in the highly anticipated action thriller Alpha, which is a female-led production distributed by Yash Raj Films.

In addition to veteran actors Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt plays the lead in the film. Hrithik Roshan is apparently making a special appearance, which will only heighten the excitement. Shiv Rawail is the director of Alpha, the most recent installment in the popular YRF Spy Universe, which also features popular films like Pathaan, Ek Tha Tiger, and War.
