Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha, who is gearing up for his Telugu debut, is all set to star in the upcoming psychological thriller, Nikita Roy. However, the makers have locked the release date of the film.

Nikita Roy will release in the worldwide theatres on May 30. However, Sonakshi also took to her Instagram to tease the release date. She shared a photo of the film and wrote in the caption, “Without any suspense… woh picture mein dekh lena… here is the first look of my mysterious next #NikitaRoy! Releasing on May 30, 2025!”

The statement reads, “This film is very close to our hearts. It dares to tread where most mainstream films don’t and explores a genre we truly believe audiences are ready for. With a powerful cast, a gripping narrative, and Kussh S Sinha’s unique vision, we can’t wait for the world to experience ‘Nikita Roy’ on the big screen.”

The film is co-produced by Anand Mehta, Prakash Nand Bijlani, Shakti Bhatnagar, Mehnaaz Shaikh, and Prem Raj Joshi. Meanwhile, Pavan Kirpalani is behind the story and screenplay of the film.

Directed by Sonakshi's brother, Kussh S Sinha, the upcoming film explores themes of mysticism, psychological tension, and human vulnerability. The film features an ensemble cast, including Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal, and Suhail Nayyar.

Nikita Roy is set against a haunting narrative backdrop and explores the grey zones of the human mind.
