Renowned singer Adnan Sami, who was born in Pakistan and officially became an Indian citizen in 2016, has extended his strong support to India's decisive counter-terrorism move, Operation Sindoor. Taking to social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Sami posted a brief but powerful message: “Jai Hind!! #OperationSindoor.”

Operation Sindoor was launched by the Indian Armed Forces as a direct response to the recent terrorist attack in Baisaran, Pahalgam, a popular tourist resort in Jammu and Kashmir. The assault, which occurred two weeks ago, is believed to have been orchestrated by militants with links to Pakistani terror groups.

In a meticulously planned operation, the Indian Air Force targeted nine high-value terrorist sites deep inside Pakistani territory, including locations in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), without violating Pakistani airspace. Strikes began around 1:44 AM, catching the Pakistani military completely off guard. The operation focused on known terror hubs such as Muridke near Lahore, Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad — locations that have long served as strongholds for groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

A press release from the Press Information Bureau confirmed that all nine targets were struck successfully. Muridke and Bahawalpur are particularly significant as they house the headquarters of JeM and its chief commander, Masood Azhar, has reportedly taken shelter in these areas in the past.

In a separate post earlier this week, Adnan Sami revealed that he met Pakistani youths in Baku, Azerbaijan, who expressed deep resentment toward their own military. "They said, 'Sir, you are very lucky. You left Pakistan in good time. We also want to change our citizenship. WE HATE OUR ARMY,'" Sami shared, adding, "I knew this long ago!"

The operation has drawn widespread attention for its precision and strategic depth, reinforcing India's resolve against cross-border terrorism. Sami’s patriotic endorsement of the mission has further amplified the public sentiment surrounding the bold initiative.
