Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani request privacy, ask paps not to click their baby's pics: "No photos please only blessings"

Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra recently embraced parenthood, announcing the arrival of their baby girl with a sweet social media post. Just a day later, the couple kindly urged the paparazzi to respect their privacy and refrain from taking photos.

The new parents made a heartfelt appeal to the paparazzi to respect their family’s privacy. On Thursday, July 18, Sidharth shared a touching note on his Instagram Stories, kindly requesting that no photos of their baby be taken.

The note read, "We’re so grateful for all the love and wishes; our hearts are truly full. As we take our first steps into this new journey of parenthood, we hope to enjoy it intimately as a family. It would mean a lot to us if this special time could stay private. So, No Photos Please, Only Blessings! Thank you for your support. Love, Kiara & Sidharth."

The couple also gave the photographers a box of candy. As a token of appreciation, they sent a heartfelt card with the treats outside the Mumbai hospital where their daughter was born earlier this week.

In making this request, Kiara and Sidharth join an increasing number of famous couples who have made the decision to protect their children's privacy and well-being by keeping them out of the public eye, including Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, and Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra.

The couple took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the joyous news with a pink-themed post that read, “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl. – Kiara & Sidharth."

Meanwhile on the work front, Sidharth will be next seen in Param Sundari alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Whereas Kiara will share the screen space with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR in YRF's War 2.
