Shruti Haasan, an actor and singer, has never been afraid to speak her mind. In a recent interview, she talked openly about the criticism she has received for her personal choices, especially those related to cosmetic surgery. Shruti, who is known for her forthright views, spoke up against the double standards women face in the entertainment industry, where being honest might cost you.
On cosmetic surgery and how society judges it
When Shruti talked to THR India, she said that she got a lot of hate for being honest about her cosmetic surgery. "When I said something, people would say things like, 'Oh, yeh to plastic surgery ki dukaan hai' (she's full of plastic surgery). But I know what I've done and how much I've done, as well as how much others have done. That's what you have to pay for being honest. It's all right. And I never tell anyone to do it. She said firmly, "This is my choice."
Shruti made it clear that her choices are very personal and not meant to sway others. She said that even when people are watching, it's better to be honest: "In love, in life, and at work, people will always point fingers at you for blowing the whistle or telling the truth." But what a terrific deal it is.
Living Life the Way She Wants
Shruti will always want to be free and able to express herself. She thinks that you should live your life without worrying about what other people think. Many fans, especially younger ones, have connected with her point of view because they see her as a voice of empowerment in an industry that is frequently full of stereotypes.
Professional High with Coolie
Shruti's honest comments keep people talking, but she's also enjoying the success of her new album, Coolie. The movie directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring Rajinikanth came out around the world on August 14 and has already made more than Rs 400 crore at the box office.
Shruti has a big part in the movie, which also stars Rachita Ram, Upendra, Aamir Khan, and Nagarjuna in important parts. The standalone action movie follows Deva (Rajinikanth) as he tries to figure out what happened to his friend who died. Nagarjuna and Soubin Shahir play the bad guys.
A mix between being bold and being famous
Shruti Haasan still finds a way to combine being real and being famous, from speaking out against hypocrisy to shining on the big screen. Her path reminds us that her most important quality is still her ability to express herself, whether in her personal life or at work.
