Shilpa Shirodkar files complaint after bus accident, slams company for not taking responsibility

Actor Shilpa Shirodkar recently shared her frustrations over a tragic experience. She revealed that her car was hit by a bus in Mumbai and slammed the bus company for not taking responsibility for the accident.

Shilpa took to her Instagram Story and shared her frustration while posting the photos of the bus. She also thanked the Mumbai Police for their help in filing a complaint.

While sharing the photos, she wrote in the caption, “A Cityflo bus ran into my car today. And the people representing the office in Mumbai Mr. Yogesh Kadam and Mr. Vilas Mankote are telling me it's not their company’s responsibility, it’s the driver’s responsibility. How ruthless are these guys? How much can a driver be earning!”

Shilpa then revealed that she has filed a complaint against them with the Mumbai police. She added, “Thanks to @mumbaipolice @cpmumbaipolice, they helped me file a police complaint without much problem.”

She continued in her post, “But the company refuses to take any responsibility for the incident. @cityflo.ind appreciate you to connect with me on this matter. Thankfully my staff is fine and unhurt, but anything could have happened.”

Shilpa also shared pictures of her damaged car after it was hit by a bus.

On the work front, Shilpa made her acting debut in Ramesh Sippy’s Bhrashtachar in 1989. The film also featured Mithun Chakraborty and Rekha in key roles. She then bagged several hit films like Khuda Gawah, Aankhen, Pehchaan, Gopi Kishan, Bewafa Sanam, and Mrityudand.

Shilpa last appeared on the big screen in the 2000 film Gajagamini. Post-2013, she transitioned to television, featuring in a few shows. In 2024, she made headlines by participating in Bigg Boss 18, hosted by Salman Khan.

Shilpa Shirodkar is gearing up to make her web series debut with the upcoming Shankar– The Revolutionary Man, which is a biopic on the life of Adi Shankaracharya. She will portray the role of Aramba, Adi Shankaracharya’s mother.
