Sharvari recently discussed her upcoming role in the YRF Spy Universe, where she will co-star with Alia Bhatt in the historic action thriller Alpha. As she embarks on a project that she feels has the potential to redefine the genre, the actress acknowledged her feelings of both excitement and anxiety.
While talking to Hindustan Times, she said “Alpha is a truly exciting venture. It’s scheduled for a Christmas release, and I can’t wait for audiences to experience it in cinemas,”
“What makes it so special is that it’s the first YRF Spy Universe film led by two women. It’s not just an action film—it’s a game-changer.” She continued.
Directed by Shiv Rawail, Alpha marks Sharvari’s debut in the renowned YRF Spy Universe, which began in 2012 with Ek Tha Tiger, followed by titles such as Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, and Tiger 3. Now, the franchise is set to break new ground with its first female-led action film.
Sharvari admitted the role came with its share of challenges. Although she had a taste of action in Vedaa, she explained that Alpha required a different skillset. “While Vedaa was more survival-based action, Alpha is sleek and highly stylised. It’s a genre I hadn’t truly explored before, so adapting to this new style was definitely demanding,” she said.

Reflecting on her film journey, The Munjya fame mentioned that the recent acclaim has brought a mix of gratitude and responsibility. “There’s always been a high benchmark I’ve set for myself, and now I’m working even harder to reach it. I’m truly thankful for all the support I’ve received. It means the world to me, and I only hope to keep audiences engaged and impressed with every performance,” she concluded.
Following the popularity of Aditya Sarpotdar's horror-comedy Munjya and her role in the web movie Maharaj with Junaid Khan, Sharvari's career underwent a dramatic change. To further demonstrate her versatility, she costarred with John Abraham in Vedaa.
