Shah Rukh Khan and Kartik Aaryan graced the IIFA 2025 pre-event in Mumbai on Friday evening, making a stylish appearance.
The official Instagram account of the IIFA Awards shared multiple pictures and videos of the duo, capturing their lively moments. Nora Fatehi also attended the event, adding to the star power of the evening.
Fans were thrilled to see these Bollywood icons together, and the event turned into a lively celebration of glamour and excitement. The pre-event showcased the perfect blend of charm, fashion, and the energy that the IIFA Awards are known for, setting the tone for the much-awaited main event.
Kartik Aaryan has been chosen to host the 25th edition of the IIFA Awards in Jaipur, Rajasthan this year. During the event, Shah Rukh Khan shared some valuable anchoring tips with Kartik.
In a few videos, Shah Rukh showed Kartik how to captivate the audience with his hosting skills, particularly by incorporating a Rajasthani flair.
SRK said, "Kartik is going to host the 25th year. Just so that I can pass off the baton to him, isko main sikha deta hun ki Jaipur mein shuruaat kaise karni hai [how to begin in Jaipur]. So, you'll have to begin by saying, 'Padharo mhare IIFA' [Welcome to IIFA].”
Kartik repeated the line, and Shah Rukh then suggested that he say it in a different way. "Padhaaro mhaare des, Rajasthan [Welcome to my state, Rajasthan ]." The duo even greeted the audience by saying "Khamma Ghani [greetings in Rajasthani]". They folded hands and bowed to the audience, evoking a loud cheer.
For the event, Shah Rukh chose a sleek black outfit – a shirt, pants, and a casual blazer. To add a touch of flair, he accessorized with a small round ear cuff. Kartik, on the other hand, sported a white shirt, tie, and a blue blazer paired with matching pants, completing his polished look.
Nora Fatehi donned a stylish black turtleneck beneath a printed blazer and matching skirt, accessorized with a red belt. Rajasthan's Deputy Chief Minister, Diya Kumari, was also in attendance at the event. The much-awaited upcoming edition of the IIFA Awards will be held in Jaipur on March 8 and 9.
As 2025 marks the Silver Jubilee of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA), Shah Rukh Khan, during the event, remarked, "Some of my most treasured memories are woven into the journey of IIFA and celebrating its Silver Jubilee in the vibrant city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, is nothing short of magical. From the iconic inaugural ceremony at the Millennium Dome in London to 25 years of unforgettable moments, IIFA has been a shining beacon of Indian cinema's global resonance. It's not just an event; it's a legacy – a testament to the power of storytelling, culture, and artistic brilliance that transcends borders."
He went on to say, "To be part of this extraordinary journey fills me with immense pride and gratitude. As we gather to celebrate IIFA's historic milestone, I eagerly look forward to reliving the magic and creating new memories with fans and friends in the heart of Rajasthan."
