K-pop powerhouse SEVENTEEN has marked a major milestone — their 10th anniversary — with the release of their highly anticipated fifth studio album, Happy Burstday. A clever twist on the word “Birthday,” the title hints at both celebration and evolution, as the group prepares for a future that will increasingly spotlight solo and sub-unit projects. With members soon to begin their mandatory military service, Happy Burstday offers a deeply personal and celebratory snapshot of SEVENTEEN’s journey thus far.
The 13-member group made history within their own discography by including solo tracks from every member for the first time. The album features 16 songs, each a distinct expression of the members’ individual artistry. Its lead single, “Thunder,” encapsulates SEVENTEEN’s signature vibrant energy and musical growth. Notably, global hitmaker Pharrell Williams contributed to the track “Bad Influence,” serving as both writer and producer — a move that signals the group’s expanding global influence.
Each member brought a unique flavor to their solo. Leader S.Coups unveiled “Jungle,” a raw and powerful anthem, while Jeonghan’s “Coincidence” explored emotional introspection. Joshua delivered “Fortunate Change,” showcasing his smooth, emotive vocals. Jun’s “Gemini” delved into duality and inner conflict, while Hoshi partnered with Timbaland on the electrifying “Damage,” blending global beats with K-pop flair.

Vernon’s “Shining Star” reflected ambition and individuality, and maknae Dino closed the lineup with “Trigger,” symbolizing new beginnings.
To celebrate with their devoted fans, CARATs, SEVENTEEN hosted a three-day “B-DAY PARTY” at Banpo Hangang Park, culminating in the spectacular “BURST Stage” concert at Jamsu Bridge. Fireworks lit up the Han River as SEVENTEEN performed “Thunder” live, offering an unforgettable night of music and gratitude, commemorating a decade of artistry and brotherhood.
