The 97th Academy Awards are generating a lot of buzz, and the excitement is building with the announcement of the second round of presenters. The Academy shared the exciting news on their official X (formerly Twitter) page, revealing a star-studded lineup that includes some familiar faces and some fresh additions to the Oscars stage.

Among the newly announced presenters are Halle Berry, Penelope Cruz, Elle Fanning, Whoopi Goldberg, Scarlett Johansson, John Lithgow, Amy Poehler, June Squibb, and Bowen Yang. This group of talented individuals represents a diverse range of acting experience and comedic styles, promising an entertaining and memorable awards ceremony.

Earlier this month, the Academy had already revealed the first set of presenters, which included some of last year's big winners. Robert Downey Jr., Cillian Murphy, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, and Emma Stone are all set to return to the Dolby Theatre stage. This tradition of having recent winners present the following year adds a special touch to the ceremony, as it allows them to share their experiences and celebrate the achievements of their peers.

It's particularly exciting to see Scarlett Johansson joining her Avengers co-star, Robert Downey Jr., as a presenter. Their on-screen chemistry as Black Widow and Iron Man was a highlight of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it will be interesting to see them together again on the Oscars stage.

Last year's Oscars were a big night for both Downey Jr. and Murphy. Murphy took home the Best Actor award for his powerful portrayal of J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan's "Oppenheimer," while Downey Jr. won Best Supporting Actor for his role as Lewis Strauss in the same film. Emma Stone won Best Actress for her performance in "Poor Things," and Da'Vine Joy Randolph earned the Best Supporting Actress award for her work in "The Holdovers."

This year's ceremony will be hosted by Conan O'Brien, according to reports. O'Brien is a seasoned comedian and talk show host, so viewers can expect a night filled with humor and lighthearted moments. The Oscars will take place on March 2nd at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. For those unable to watch on ABC, the ceremony will also be available for streaming on Hulu. Mark your calendars for a night of glitz, glamour, and celebration of cinematic excellence!
