Sarangapani Jathakam OTT release date: When, where to watch Priyadarshi, Roopa Koduvayur starrer Telugu comedy

Telugu comedy-drama film Sarangapani Jathakam, which had Priyadarshi and Roopa Koduvayur in the lead roles, was released in theaters on April 25 this year. Though the movie earned favourable reviews from critics, it failed to make an impact at the box office. It managed to earn only Rs 2.75 crore in India after 14 days of release.

Now the makers of Sarangapani Jathakam are banking on the film's OTT release. The movie, which was critically acclaimed, will soon start streaming on an online platform and those who missed it in theaters will have a chance to watch it now.

According to a report in OTTPlay, Amazon Prime Video has acquired the streaming rights for the Telugu film starring Priyadarshi and Roopa Koduvayur.

The report further said Sarangapani Jathakam would be released on the streaming platform on May 23.

However, no formal confirmation has been made about the OTT giant.

The movie's storyline is about a boy named Sarangapani, who is a strong believer in astrology. When life throws fresh twists at him, he embarks on a trip that compels him to confront some difficult facts about himself and his existence.

The Telugu comedy drama stars Priyadarshi Pulikonda as Sarangapani, Roopa Koduvayur as Mythili, Tanikella Bharani as a businessman, and Vennela Kishore as Chandrasekhar.

Sarangapani Jathakam also stars Viva Harsha, Raja Chembolu, Vadlamani Srinivas, and Pramodini as Devaki in supporting roles. Sarangapani Jathakam was directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti and produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad.

The film has cinematography by P. G. Vinda. Vivek Sagar has given the music for the film.

Priyadarshi Pulikonda became a household name after the release of his most recent film, Court: State versus A Nobody, earlier this year. The film was loved for its sleek storyline and bang of court drama.
