Bollywood actress Sanjana Sanghi has recently joined Dia Mirza at the Annual Meeting of the UN Secretary-General’s Advocates for the Sustainable Development Goals during the 80th United Nations General Assembly.
Sanjana took to her Instagram and shared a series of photos from the ceremony. Alongside the photos, Sanjana penned, “Couldn't have thought of a better way to kick off this #UNGA season than the most precious conversations with my forever inspiration @diamirzaofficial.”
She continued celebrating the moment with a short clip posted on her Instagram Story. She shared a video of Dia playing with her saree and wrote, “Strutting through Manhattan’s streets with my Dee through UNGA session. Doesn’t get any better.”
For the event, Sanjana sported a white top paired with jeans. She completed her look with a cool blazer. She elevated her outfit with hoop earrings and a ring. Meanwhile, Dia looked elegant in a peach colored saree.
However, Dia Mira also shared a series of pictures from the ceremony and penned, “At the Annual Meeting of the UN Secretary-General’s Advocates for the Sustainable Development Goals during the 80th United Nations General Assembly, we are reminded why we must never give up on HOPE.”
The actress continued, “The #SDGs are not just a shared blueprint for the world — they are our own personal goals. Goals rooted in kindness, inclusion, empathy, and generosity. We are #BetterTogether. And we will leave no one behind. No matter how challenging the times, we have the power to make them better.”
