Comedian Samay Raina has recently been in the headlines and faced legal issues over Ranveer Allahbadia's controversial remark about parents made on his show, India's Got Latent.

The comedian notably faced brutal backlash and criticism following the controversy. However, Samay has returned to India after his Canada tour and recently issued an apology while ensuring that it would not be repeated.

According to NDTV source, Samay Raina has admitted his mistake to the Maharashtra Cyber Cell and “apologized for whatever happened during the show.”

The source noted that the comedian also stated that everything had happened spontaneously during the show and that he had not intended to make his reported remarks. Samay also promised to be more careful from now onwards.

Samay said, "I feel deep regret for what I said. It happened in the flow of the show, and I had no intention of saying it."

The comedian reportedly also stated that the controversy surrounding his show had taken a toll on his mental well-being. He also mentioned that his Canada tour had not gone well and apologized, acknowledging that he was wrong.

Samay Raina has recently returned to Canada and appeared before the probe agency at its headquarters in Mhape, where he recorded his statement for over five hours. The agency had earlier summoned him several times in the case.
