Bollywood actor Salman Khan recently starred in Sikandar, which was widely criticized for its plot and performance. However, the actor has already bagged a new role. The actor is reported to play an Indian Army officer in the upcoming film.
According to Bollywood Hungama, a source has informed that Salman liked the script and is excited about the idea of the upcoming war drama. The insider said, “Jordy Patel introduced Salman Khan to Apoorva Lakhia, and that’s when the duo jammed over a script.”
The source added, “Apoorva had acquired the rights to the novel, 'India’s Most Fearless 3', a while back and discussed the idea with Salman. He loved the thought of this novel and is contemplating signing on for the film.”
The upcoming war drama will revolve around the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops. Meanwhile, filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia is expected to direct the film.

The film is reported to be based on the book by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh that highlights acts of bravery by Indian soldiers and details the Galwan Valley chapter. The production is slated to start in the second half of 2025 if plans proceed as expected.
Salman is reported to have a series of projects in his pipeline. The source has shared, “Salman Khan's upcoming slate is very exciting. The writers and directors who are in talks with the megastar have filtered out all promising content.”
Additionally, Salman Khan has also received an offer from director Sooraj Barjatya for an ensemble family film.
