Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's debut film, Saiyaara, has recently hit the theatres on a positive note. The film has created a buzz among the fans with the trailers and songs, and is now breaking records at the box office.
According to Sacnilk, Saiyaara earned around Rs 24 crore net in India on its second day, taking the total box office collection to Rs 45.00 crore net in India. The film registered an overall 51.24% Hindi occupancy with 28.14% morning, 50.67% afternoon, 55.40% evening and 70.74% night shows on Saturday.
Saiyaara has already surpassed the total box office collections of fellow Gen Z debutants Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan. Their film Loveyaapa, which was released in February, finished with a total collection of Rs 6.8 crore.
Rasha Thadani, another debutant from a film family who connected with audiences, saw her first film Azaad earn Rs 6.5 crore during its theatrical run. Meanwhile, Vedang Raina’s Jigra performed better, mainly because of Alia Bhatt’s star power, collecting Rs 30 crore in three weeks.

Meanwhile, Saiyaara opened in the theatres on Friday and collected Rs 21 crore. The film is expected to cross the Rs 50 crore mark on its first Sunday in just three days.
Directed by Mohit Suri, Saiyaara revolves around the passionate lovers and aspiring singers, Krish Kapur and Vaani, played by Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, as they navigate a rollercoaster romance, facing euphoric highs and crushing lows while desperately clinging to their tumultuous bond.
