Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who was injured last month in an attack at his house, returned to work. The actor was seen at the launch event of his upcoming movie Jewel Thief which will be seen on Netflix.
Saif, attending the event with a cast on his arm, expressed his relief and gratitude for being present despite the recent stabbing incident. He shared that he was happy to be there and excited about his upcoming film, emphasizing how much it meant to him to stand before the audience.
He stated, "Siddharth and I have been talking about this for a long time. I’ve always wanted to do a heist film and I couldn’t have asked for a better co-star (touches Jaideep’s shoulder). Basically, a lovely movie and I’m very excited.”
Speaking of the show Jewel Theif, Netflix describes Jewel Thief as the story of a formidable crime lord who enlists a skilled jewel thief to pull off the ultimate heist—stealing the world’s most elusive diamond, The African Red Sun. However, what begins as a meticulously planned operation soon spirals into an unpredictable and thrilling adventure.

For those unfamiliar with the incident, Saif Ali Khan was stabbed during a botched robbery at his Bandra residence on January 16. He was immediately taken to the hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery to remove a knife that had been lodged dangerously close to his spine. After spending five days under medical supervision, the actor was discharged. Meanwhile, the alleged perpetrator has been apprehended and remains in police custody as investigations continue.
Directed by Siddharth Anand and co-produced by him alongside Mamta Anand, Jewel Thief features Saif Ali Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat in the lead roles.
