Saif Ali Khan was stabbed multiple times in the early hours of January 16 in a shocking incident that has left the film industry and fans concerned. The attack occurred at Saif’s Mumbai residence around 2:30 am when an intruder allegedly broke into his home during a suspected burglary attempt.
The actor confronted the intruder, resulting in a violent scuffle that left him with six stab wounds, two of which are reported to be deep, with one dangerously close to his spine.
The Mumbai Police have launched an extensive investigation into the attack, deploying seven special teams, sniffer dogs, and surveillance tools to trace the attacker.
Despite initial speculation suggesting external unauthorised entry, investigators suspect the attacker may have been aided by someone familiar with the premises.
Sources indicate the attacker might have been hiding inside the building, evading detection by CCTV cameras.
