It's good news for Saif Ali Khan fans, the actor has been shifted out of the ICU to the room, said Dr Dr. Nitin N. Dange, Neurosurgeon, Lilavati who had operated upon the actor on January 16.
Dr Dange told the reporters that the actor is doing very well and as a result they have shifted him to the room but the visitors entry is restricted owing to the seriousness of the injury.
He said Saif has been advised complete bed rest due to the wound near the spine.
"Saif Ali Khan is doing excellent, We made him walk, there is no much pain or any such symptoms. All the wounds and injuries are fine and he is safe to be shifted to room. He has to take rest for some time because of the wound on the back (spine) especially as it can have chances of infection," Dr Dange told reporters.

Doctors at the hospital also said that Saif will be able to walk home soon.
Kareena Kapoor, Saif's other children Ibrahim and Sara are also visiting the actor daily.
Saif's mother and veteran actor Sharmila Tagore looked worried as she arrived to meet her injured son at the hospital on Thursday evening with Soha Ali Khan.
Kareena Kapoor is going to record her statement with the Mumbai police soon.
Meanwhile in the latest development, one person has been detained by Mumbai Police in connection with the case.
Saif was stabbed six times in an attempted burglary at his pscale Bandra home. 20 Police teams have been formed to nab the main accused. Interrogation of the detainee is underway.
