Star Plus is getting ready to wow its viewers with Dil Ki Baatein, a cutting-edge miniseries. The channel, which is well-known for its emotionally charged and engrossing programming, is now introducing a novel idea that is sure to move viewers in a unique way.
Rupali Ganguly will reprise her cherished role as Anupamaa in the show, but with a special twist: this time, she will engage with a group of kids and lead them in open discussions full of humour, innocence, and important life lessons.
The channel recently released the first promotional teaser on Instagram for the June premiere. In this short but endearing video, a group of children ask Anupamaa light-hearted and sometimes difficult questions while also sharing their own personal narratives. The wholesome messages presented in this intimate format are intended to appeal to audiences of all ages.
Following the warm reception from the children, Rupali expressed her enthusiasm for the project, saying, “I am coming with these children to talk about many things that moms and dads often ignore.” This reflects the show’s intent to explore topics often overlooked in everyday family conversations, encouraging openness and understanding.
Rupali Ganguly’s genuine rapport with children is well-known, especially with her own son, Rudransh, moments of which she frequently shares on social media. In an earlier interview with ETimes, she opened up about the complex emotions many mothers encounter when juggling their professional and personal lives.
She said, “Behind every hero, there’s an unsung mother but behind me are my son and my husband. When I left home to become Anupamaa from Maa, he let me do it. He did cry and missed me a lot. I can’t get over my mother’s guilt. I feel we women, wherever we work we do it with guilt. We are blessed to have husbands who are proud of us and who are such fantastic role models for our children.”
Dil Ki Baatein promises to make young viewers happy and feel warm thanks to Rupali's genuine presence and the endearing qualities of the kids.
It will also make parents feel nostalgic. Even though there aren't many details yet, everything will be revealed when the show premieres on Star Plus exclusively on June 9 at 6:30 PM.
