In the latest development, sources close to the show revealed in an interview that Rupali Ganguly is set to leave Anupamaa soon.

In conversation with Times Now, a source was quoted saying, "Rupali Ganguly will be quitting Anupamaa in the next three months. The makers introduced a big 15-year leap to introduce new lead characters like Shivam Khajuria and Adrija Roy. Once the makers develop a strong love angle between Prem and Rahi, Anupama (Rupali Ganguly) will exit the show"

The source concluded by saying, "Her exit can happen anytime in the next three months. Currently, the makers are focusing on a love triangle between Prem, Rahi, and Maahi. Hence, Rupali’s scenes have been reduced from the episode"

A few days back, Rupali was accused of the ouster of Alisha Parveen, but fans came out in support of her. Rupali shared a statement, as she said, "I have no authority over casting decisions or other major show developments. Such matters are entirely handled by Rajan Shahi and the channel. I’ve always prioritized professionalism and dedicated myself to this show for the last five years."

Some time ago, Rupali Ganguly issued a defamation notice of Rs 50 crore against her stepdaughter, Esha Verma.
