Based on Robert Jordan’s iconic fantasy series, the show continues to follow Rand al'Thor’s dangerous journey as the Dragon Reborn, alongside the powerful women who guide him.
A key focus of the new season is the evolving relationship between Moiraine Damodred, played by the acclaimed Rosamund Pike, and her Warder, Lan Mandragoran, portrayed by Daniel Henney.
Pike delves into the development of their bond, reflecting on how it has changed from season one. She says, “They've got this kind of wonderful symbiosis.”
In season two, Moiraine grapples with the consequences of her actions, which deeply affected Lan, but she eventually reveals the profound trust and respect she has for him.
Pike explains, “She chose him because she knew that he was strong enough to cope with her, to cope with her death when that comes, to dedicate his life as thoroughly as she’s dedicated hers. She deeply trusts Lan, and it’s an amazing relationship.” Season three promises to explore the subtleties of their connection as they face even greater threats.
Beyond character relationships, The Wheel of Time season three promises visually stunning sequences and ambitious growth.
Henney notes, “In Season Three, it’s starting to feel like this is our stride. Like, we can go now. We've even changed the cameras. We're shooting wider, and it looks epic. It’s what the show needs. You need time to figure out what the show will be, especially a show of this calibre and the size. We’re catching our rhythm. It has been five years, but it’s been a quick five years.”

Starring Rosamund Pike, Daniel Henney, Josha Stradowski, Priyanka Bose, and Madeleine Madden, the first three episodes of the eight-episode season will premiere on Prime Video on March 13, with weekly releases in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
