Just hours before a highly anticipated comeback stage at Gwanghwamun Square, BTS leader RM addressed fans directly regarding a recent injury that has impacted his ability to perform at full capacity.
The update came shortly after BIGHIT MUSIC released an official statement confirming that the artist had suffered a ligament tear in his ankle during rehearsals.
According to the agency, RM’s stage participation will be adjusted in line with medical advice to prevent further strain or aggravation of the injury.
While the news initially raised concerns among fans, RM quickly took to a live broadcast via BTS Studio to personally share his condition and offer reassurance.
RM acknowledged the unfortunate timing of the injury, which occurred while he was preparing intensively for both the comeback stage and upcoming performances.

"I want to talk about something unfortunate. The notice went out about 10 or 15 minutes ago. I was practicing really hard for the stage and for our concert, and ended up with an ankle injury. I really practiced hard, but I am not able to perform right away. I won’t be able to perform, but I will be onstage to meet you, singing and hyping everyone up. I will try hard to recover before the concert. Please don’t worry because it’s not that serious."
RM emphasised his determination to still be present on stage, albeit in a modified role.
