A Bengaluru court is expected to announce its decision on the bail plea of Kannada actor Darshan on Monday in connection with a serious case involving the murder of a fan. Darshan, his partner Pavithra Gowda, and 15 others were arrested on June 11 for allegedly kidnapping and brutally killing Renukaswamy, who had sent inappropriate messages to Pavithra.

Darshan and Pavithra are among the key accused in this case, and their families and fans are hopeful that the court will grant them bail after four months in jail.

Currently, Darshan is held in Ballary jail, where he was moved after photos showing him receiving special treatment in Bengaluru Central Prison were leaked. He is facing multiple charges related to this case, including three FIRs (First Information Reports).

The 57th City Civil and Sessions Court (CCH) is set to make its decision around noon. If granted bail, Darshan's family plans to bring him back to Bengaluru by a special helicopter.

Darshan's lawyer, C.V. Nagesh, argues that the police charges against him are fabricated. He claims that the investigation has serious flaws and compared the case details to a story from "Arabian Nights." Nagesh pointed out that there was a significant delay in conducting the postmortem of Renukaswamy and in gathering statements from eyewitnesses.

While presenting his arguments for bail, Nagesh also expressed his intention to seek Darshan's acquittal. He emphasized the need for justice and fairness in the case.

On the other hand, the Special Public Prosecutor, Prasanna Kumar, is strongly opposing Darshan's bail plea. He argues that Darshan should not be released and highlights that Darshan allegedly admitted to kicking Renukaswamy in the chest during questioning. Kumar referred to the incident as a serious matter, indicating that Darshan was aware of a plot to kidnap Renukaswamy.

The police have submitted a detailed charge sheet, totaling nearly 4,000 pages, which outlines the evidence against the accused. This includes witness statements and other supporting documents.

As the court prepares to make its decision, the public is closely watching the developments. The case has garnered significant media attention, not only because of Darshan's celebrity status but also due to the shocking nature of the allegations. Many fans are anxiously waiting for the court's ruling, hoping for a favorable outcome for the actor.

The next few hours will be crucial for Darshan, his family, and his supporters as they await the court's decision regarding his bail plea.
