During the conversation on Instagram Live, when a fan asked them about Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein part 2, Dia Mirza playfully said, "Kaun Banayga?"

To this, Madhavan replied, "Yaar Dar yeh hai na ki we should it better than the original one. Warna na humko itni gaaliyan padegi" (I m scared that we should it better than the original one. Or else we will get got scolding if it doesn't work).

Later during the same conversation, Madhavan also complimented Dia and said "she still looked like an angel".

R Madhavan hinted at the possibility of a sequel to "Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein" while sharing news of the film's re-release.
