Actor-filmmaker SJ Suryah was recently involved in an accident while shooting for his upcoming film Killer. The incident occurred at Palavakkam in Chennai during the film’s third shooting schedule, while the team was filming an intense action sequence.

According to a report by Nakkheeran, SJ Suryah was performing a scene that required him to descend from a height using a rope. During the stunt, he reportedly lost his grip, slipped, and fell onto a steel rod, sustaining injuries to both his legs.

Following the mishap, shooting was immediately halted and the actor was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. The incident came as a shock to the entire crew, especially since it involved a crucial scene in the thriller.

SJ Suryah, who is well-known for pulling off his own stunts, was allegedly trying a number of punches and kicks during the scene, which alarmed the film crew and people close to him.

Doctors at the hospital verified that he had deep cuts on both legs that needed to be sutured. The actor is reportedly in stable condition and is presently under medical observation, despite the fact that the injuries were described as serious.
