When Chikiri Chikiri, the lead single from Ram Charan's eagerly awaited movie Peddi, made its live debut at A.R. Rahman's lavish concert in Hyderabad, the atmosphere was electrifying.

As the renowned composer and the Peddi team brought the stage to life in front of thousands of applauding fans, it was more than just a song launch; it was a celebration of music, films, and pure joy.

The song received an incredible amount of response. Chikiri Chikiri became one of the most viewed and liked songs of the year after receiving an incredible 46 million views on the internet in just one day after its release.

Audiences were moved by the song's earthy rhythms, soulful melodies, and lively choreography, which produced an irresistible infectious energy.

“It was a childhood dream for me to be a part of his music and it is part of my favourite subject, Peddi. I think I can't get a word like this. Thank you so much. It is a dream come true,” he said, capturing the sheer wonder of the moment. It was a reminder that even the biggest stars are still human — chasing dreams, feeling awe, and cherishing milestones.

The live performance turned the concert into an unforgettable experience. Fans danced, sang along, and soaked in the music as Chikiri Chikiri filled the arena with life and colour.

Beyond its chart-topping online success, the song’s charm lies in its authenticity, connecting deeply with audiences and giving them a glimpse of the heartfelt storytelling that Peddi promises.

Directed by Uppena filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is shaping up to be an emotional, rustic drama showcasing Ram Charan in one of his most intense roles to date.

The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu, and is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru.

With a release date set for 27th March 2026, the anticipation is palpable — and if Chikiri Chikiri is any indication, audiences are in for an unforgettable cinematic ride.
