Nagarjuna and Tabu

Nagarjuna Akkineni, a veteran actor, is getting ready for his 100th movie, which is tentatively called King100. Reports say it could be a very special movie event. There are rumors in the industry that the movie might bring the superstar back together with his longtime friend and former co-star Tabu. This would be their first time on screen together in almost 30 years.

Are Nagarjuna and Tabu going to get back together?

A report from 123 Telugu says that the producers are in advanced talks with Tabu to play a major role opposite Nagarjuna in King100. People say that her character has a lot of emotional depth and will be important to the story.

If this reunion happens, it will be 27 years after their last movie together. Fans are very excited because they still remember how well they worked together in the 1990s. People are already talking a lot about the news on social media, even though the official announcement hasn't come yet. Fans are excited about the possible pairing.

Ra Karthik, who directed Nitham Oru Vaanam with Ashok Selvan, will direct the movie, which is said to be called Lottery King. The project is said to be a family action drama with emotional undertones. It will be a big deal, fitting for Nagarjuna's 100th milestone.

Nagarjuna and Tabu's Famous Couples on Screen

Tabu and the other actor first worked together in the 1995 family comedy Sisindri, where Tabu had a small part. The movie, which Nagarjuna made, was based on Baby's Day Out and starred his son Akhil Akkineni as a child actor.

Krishna Vamsi directed the romantic drama Ninne Pelladata in 1996, which they worked on together. The movie was a huge hit for Nagarjuna, getting great reviews and winning many awards.

The last time they worked together was in the 1998 comedy Aavida Maa Aavide, which also starred Heera Rajgopal. The movie did okay at the box office, even though it opened strong. Since then, fans have been waiting a long time for the two stars to get back together.

What's Next for Tabu and Nagarjuna

Nagarjuna's most recent movie role was as the evil Simon Xavier, a smuggling and organ trade kingpin, in Lokesh Kanagaraj's Coolie with Rajinikanth. The actor's performance was very different from what he usually does, and it got a lot of praise.

The star will also have a nostalgic moment this November when his cult classic Shiva (1989) comes back to theaters on November 14, 2025.

Tabu, on the other hand, has a lot to do. She will next be in Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan's Bhooth Bangla and an action movie with Vijay Sethupathi that doesn't have a title yet. Puri Jagannadh will direct it.

If everything goes as planned, King100 could be one of the most important events in Nagarjuna's long and successful career. It will be his 100th film and a big reunion with one of his favorite co-stars.
