Kayadu Lohar is back in Telugu movies with Vishwak Sen's Funky

Actor Kayadu Lohar is back in Tollywood after a short break. He will star in the upcoming comedy Funky, which will also star Vishwak Sen. KV Anudeep, who is known for his work on Jathi Ratnalu, is directing the movie. It promises to be a laugh riot full of strange humor and strange people.

Funky Teaser Sets the Mood

The creators recently released the first teaser for Funky on social media, and its fun energy and chaotic story immediately caught fans' attention. The teaser is full of funny one-liners and slapstick moments, which are Anudeep's trademark style of comedy.

The teaser has a cheeky line that says, "A film with no part 2." This makes fun of the fact that sequels are becoming more and more popular in Indian cinema. The pictures also show Kayadu Lohar's character, Chitra, who adds a nice touch to the group.

Kayadu Lohar Talks About Her Role in Funky

Kayadu talked about her time working on the movie in a recent interview.
"The movie is a full-on comedy. Most of the conversations were thought up and written down right on the set. "Every five minutes, there will be a very funny scene," she said, hinting that Funky will be a full-on entertainer from start to finish.

The actress made her first Kannada film with Mugilpete (2021) and her first Telugu film with the cop drama Alluri (2022). She also got a lot of attention for her role with Pradeep Ranganathan earlier this year, and she is said to be working on Nani's next project, The Paradise.

The People Who Made Funky

Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Entertainments worked together to make Funky. Srikara Studios presents the movie. Bheems Ceciroleo wrote the music, and KV Anudeep and Mohan Sato wrote the script together.

Navin Nooli is the film's editor, and Suresh Sarangam is the cinematographer. Sarangam is known for his work on the Mathu Vadalara series.

Funky is also the second time that Vishwak Sen and producer Naga Vamsi have worked together, after their successful 2024 film Gangs of Godavari.
