Noble Babu Thomas’ latest action thriller Karam, directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan of Hridayam fame, is all set for its digital debut. After a successful theatrical run that began on September 25, 2025, the film is ready to stream on OTT.
Karam will premiere on ManoramaMAX starting November 7, 2025, the platform confirmed through an official social media announcement. The release marks one of the most anticipated Malayalam OTT drops of the season, with viewers eager to revisit Vineeth Sreenivasan’s distinct mix of emotion, morality, and intensity.
Storyline and themes

The film’s title, Karam (meaning Hand in Malayalam), is both literal and symbolic. It tells the story of Dev Mahendran, a former army officer whose life takes a tragic turn after a mission goes wrong. Court-martialed and stripped of honor, Dev tries to rebuild his life with his girlfriend Sana, only to lose her after a devastating accident that leaves her paralyzed—and him accused by her family.

Years later, Dev has remarried and moved on, but fate brings Sana back into his life in a shocking way. Now trapped in a dark world of human trafficking and crime, Sana’s plight reignites Dev’s sense of purpose. What follows is a tense rescue mission, where Dev uses his combat skills and unrelenting spirit to battle a ruthless mafia syndicate.

Noble Babu Thomas not only leads the film but also wrote its screenplay, continuing his creative evolution from earlier hits like Helen and Jacobinte Swargarajyam. Serbian football manager Ivan Vukomanović, best known as the former Kerala Blasters coach, plays the menacing antagonist. The supporting cast includes Audrey Miriam Henest, Reshma Sebastian, Manoj K. Jayan, Baburaj, Kalabhavan Sha john, Sudev Nair, Johny Antony, and Shweta Menon.

Vineeth Sreenivasan directs with his trademark blend of heartfelt storytelling and cinematic flair. The technical team features Jomon T. John behind the camera, Ranjan Abraham in the editing suite, and Shaan Rahman composing the score. Together, they craft a gripping emotional thriller where redemption, love, and vengeance collide.
